“Holiday Aurora”
Holiday Aurora is a Christmas-time depiction of a truly Alaskan scene. Each year, my family and I decorate a random, trailside tree with Christmas ornaments. Other families do the same, and it’s an absolute joy to ski around a random bend in a trail to find a glittering, snow-topped spruce tree covered in ornaments.
This painting captures that feel under a classic, winter aurora.
The painting was made for use by The Libby Group as their 2018 holiday card. Justin Libby is my dentist, and I highly recommend The Libby Group to anyone in the Anchorage, Alaska area.
