“The Goliath and her Halfling”

Seattle friends Rand and Geraldine shared a story about their Dungeons & Dragons characters that cracked me up and stuck in my brain. He plays a love-struck Halfling thief. Geraldine plays the object of his affection, a titanic Goliath barbarian. The rogue’s unrequited love is lost on the barbarian, but she finds him adorable like a little pet and carries him around in her backpack.
